English Speaking Club for youth!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Speaking Club for youth on the 30th of November.

Our visitors were disscusing the topic "Celebration" with our volunteer Nikita.

7 participants took part in this event.

English Movie Club !

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Movie Club on the 29th of November. 
Our visitors were watching the movie "Spanglish". 
This is a 2004 American romantic comedy -drama film written and directed by James L. Brooks and starring Adam Sadler, Tea Leoni, Paz Vega, and Cloris Leachman. 
Luis P. was our leader and we 6 participants took part in this event.

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 29th of November.

At the begining of the lesson students learnt words from song called 

"Don`t worry". After that our students cheked their homework.

Also they continued to practice in usage Prepositions of time and
place - they did a lot of esexercises and played game "A cat and
a mouse".
Antonina L. was our leader and we 18 students took part in this class!

English Mafia Party!

This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the U. S.- Ukraine Diplomatic Relations. Our Center supports this partnerships and offers lots of different events!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had English Mafia Party on the 28th of November. with our good American friend and volunteer Thomas R.

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 28th of November.

At the begining of the lesson students learnt words from song called 

"Don`t worry". After that our students cheked their homework.

Also they continued to practice in usage the Present Simple 
Tense - they did a short test and played Present Simple Space game.

English Speaking Club!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Speaking Club on the 26th of November.
We were to disscusing the topic "Ecology of the 22nd Century" with our volunteer Alex.

At the begining of the club a short video have beed shown and discussed. Video was about the size of the solar system. Then, visitors discused how they feel about that. Do they feel big or small, different points of view was discussed on different levels. From the smalest paticals to the biggest objects in the universe. 

Place of human species on this planet, overpopulation, energy sourses, eco system, moral and other questions was discussed deeply.

The bottom line of all this discussion is one question. What are you able to do, to prevent all possible bad scenario? What is the rescue plan for humanity?

Our speaking club was very interesting and 24 participants took part in this event.

Заняття з програмування для дітей Сode Club.

26 листопада у бібліотечному ресурсному центрі "Вікно в Америку"  відбулося чергове  заняття з програмування для дітей Сode Club.

Нашим лідером був cтудент факультету комп'ютерних технологій Чорноморського національного університету імені Петра Могили  Анатолій Дудка. 

Всі 10 діток продовжили роботу  створенням  анімаційної гри "Музична шкатулка".
