English class for beginners!

On the 18th of April at the Mykolaiv WoA Center was the English class for beginners!

Our students watched and discussed a short video and a presentation that introduced the Easter vocabulary and explained the Easter history and traditions. They shared information about Easter celebrations in other countries, the content of the Ukrainian Easter baskets (with Easter bread, cured lard, home-made sausages, and water).

Also they learned many new words such us priest, apostle (disciple), tomb, resurrection, blood and took part in the quiz "What do you know about Easter celebration in Ukraine?".

Number of participants – 15 people.
