Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 16th of January.
At the begining of the lesson students told about their celebrations the New Year and Christams.
After that they watched and discussed a short video called US Civil
Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr. Honored.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American leader of the civil rights movement in the 1960s. King is remembered for his non-violent protests against the unequal treatment of African-Americans. His actions led to equal rights laws for all people. After watching the film they had a short discussion about civil rights in the USA and Ukraine.
Also they studied rules of usage the Past Simple Tense and played
game "Who am I?".
