English Movie Club!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Movie Club on the 7th of February. 
Our visitors were watching  and discussing the movie "Race" (2016). 

We watched thats film as part of the Black History month and Olympic Games.

This is a biographical sports drama film about African-American athlete Jesse Owens, and his journey to eventually winning four gold medals at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. This movie also shows racial discrimination and segregation of African Americans in the United States, as well as discrimination towards the Jewish population in Nazi Germany. At the conclusion of the movie, after winning four gold medals in Germany, Owens returns to the United States where he continues to be subject to U.S. segregation laws.
