Window on America Center had the English Speaking Club the оn the 21 st of January.
Our visitors discussed the topic "I have a dream" with our leader
Yuliya Khakimova, participant of FLEX program, student of Petro Mohyla Blach Sea National University.
At the bigining of the event they watched and discused a short video of Martin Luther King Jr. speech "I have a dream".
Our visitors discussed the topic "I have a dream" with our leader

At the bigining of the event they watched and discused a short video of Martin Luther King Jr. speech "I have a dream".
Our leader told about Martin Luther King Jr. who was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement from 1954 through 1968. Also she told history of civil rights in the USA.
After that they discussed difinition and characteristics of civil (human) rights, worked in groups and compared the civil rights in different coutries because we had representatives from Canada, the USA, Argentina, Armenia and of course Ukraine.
25 participants took part in this English Speaking Club.
