English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 28th of December.

At the begining of the lesson students told about their traditions of 
celebration the New Year and Christams.
After that our leader Julia told a history of Christmas and our student  Also they 
learnt different christmas expressions, watched and discussed a 
video "Christmas Celebration in Different Countries".  

Julia K. was our leader and 7 students took part in this class.

English Game Session!

Mykolav Window on America Center had the English Game Session on the 28th of December.
Our visitors played "What is the most dangerous animals?" and "Riddle", "Guissing game" and others.
Nasiba was our leader and 7 particapants took part in this event. 

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 27th of December.

At the begining of the lesson students cheked their hometask and    read  poems about winter and Christmas and New Year. Also they studied topic "Comperative" and leart new words, did a lot of exesises. Then they played  interesting games "Rasing", "Riddle", "Guessing game" and "Sit down and shut up!". 

Nasiba was our leader and 12 students took part in this class!

English Mafia Party!

This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the U. S.- Ukraine Diplomatic Relations. Our Center supports this partnerships and offers lots of different events!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had English Mafia Party on the 26th of  December with our good American friend and volunteer Thomas R. 

We had 7 participants!

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 26th of December.

At the begining of the lesson students cheked their hometask and    continued to study rules of usage Present Continuous and Present Simple and did a lot of esexercises and did test. Also they described Christmas and New Year pictures and sang "Merry Christmas"song.

Заняття з програмування для дітей Сode Club!

24 грудня у бібліотечному ресурсному центрі "Вікно в Америку"  відбулося чергове  заняття з програмування для дітей Сode Club.
Нашим лідером був cтудент факультету комп'ютерних технологій  Чорноморського національного університету імені Петра Могили  Анатолій Дудка, який розповів дітям багато цікавих фактів про історію розвитку різних поколінь комп'ютерів та програмування у світі. 
Всього у занятті взяли участь 7 діток. 

English Class for Kids!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center  had the English Class for Kids on the 24th of December.

At the begining of the lesson children cheked their homework and repeated words from the topic "Action verbs".
After that they had a new topic "Сhristmas and New Year" and learned the new words related to the topic, did a lot of interesting exercises. 

Alina M, student of Vasyl Sukhomlunsky Mykolaiv National University was our leader  and 9 small students took part in the lesson.

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 21st of December.

At the begining of the lesson students played "Snowball", "Describe
a picture".
А special guest Polina from Great Britan visited our lesson and our 
students had a chance to speak with her.

English Game Session!

Mykolav Window on America Center had the English Game Session on the 21st of December.
Our visitors played "Complete the sentences", "Phototaboo", "Conversation qestions" and "Crossword".
Dasha L. was our leader and 8 particapants took part in this event. 

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 20th of December.
At the begining of the lesson students told about their weekand and they had a short meуting met with our volunteer Vlad.

Then students cheked their homework.

After that they studied The Christmas and New Year vocabulary and sang "Jingle bells" song.
