English Movie Club!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Movie Club on the 27th of June.

Our visitors were watching  and discussing the movie "Independence Day" (1996). This movie about when on Earth, a signal is send, send by a source of clearly unearthly origin. This source is approached, and the whole planet rised to the "ears". No one, however, did not expect that the aliens would be so huge and in such numbers.

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 27th of June.

At the begining of the lesson our students told  how about summer plans and checked their  hometasks.

Then they practice a lot and did a test on the Past Simple. Also they

 played interesting games "Talk for one minute about ...", read and 

translated some proverbs and sayings.

English Mafia Party!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Mafia Party on the 26th of June with our good American friend and volunteer Thomas R.
If you like to play a game and to practice in English - this game is  for you!

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 26th of June. 

At the begining of the lesson our students checked their hometask and told about summer plans.

After that they did a lot of grammar exercises and played interesting games "What are you doing?",
"Mistakes", "Mimes", " Riddles" and "Complete the sentence".

Elena P. was our leader and  7 students took part in this class!

Free English Toefl Class!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the Free English TOEFLClass оn the 25th of June.

Our leader Eduarda F., a participant of FLEX program, the student of LCC International Univeristy helped the visitors to improve their speaking skills needed for TOEFL exam.

6 people took part in this English Class.

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 21st of June. 

At the begining of the lesson our students checked their hometask.
After that they played "Minning the Words" and
"Which worse and Why". 

Also the did a lot of grammar exercises.

English Game Session!

Window on America Center had the English Game Session the оn the 21st of June.
Our visitors played a lot of interesting games "Stop the bus", "Hot seat" and other.
If you like practise in English and play game - its party for you!

English Movie Club!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Movie Club on the 20th of June.

Our visitors were watching  and discussing the movie "Some Like It Hot" (1959). This movie is about two Chicago musicians, Joe and Jerry, witness the St. Valentine's Day massacre, they wanted to got out of town and got away from the gangster responsible, Spats Colombo.
They showed up at the train station as Josephine and Daphne, the replacemented saxophone and bass players.Joe in particular seted out to wooed her while Daphne is wooed by a millionaire. The two men tried to keep their true identities hidden and Spats Colombo and his crew showed up for a meeting with several other crime lords.
