English Game Session

Window on America Center had the English Game Session the оn the 30th of August.
Our visitors played a lot of interesting games such us "KABOOM game", "Find odd word", "Vocabulary Worksheet-American Icons", "Pictionary", "Speaking activity".
If you like practise your English and play game - this event is for you!

English Movie Club

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Movie Club on the 29th of August.

Our visitors were watching and discussing 2011 American romantic comedy "Just Go with", directed by Dennis Dugan, written by Allan Loeb and Timothy Dowling and starring Adam Sandler (who also co-produced), Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Nick Swardson and Brooklyn Decker. The film is based on the 1969 film Cactus Flower, which was adapted from an earlier Broadway stage play written by Abe Burrows, which in turn was based upon the French play Fleur de cactus. Production of the film began on March 2, 2010. The film was released on February 11, 2011 by Columbia Pictures in North America. The film grossed over $214 millions.

Window on America Center had the English Game Session the оn the 23rd of August.
Our visitors played a lot of interesting games such us "Firgure out as much as you can in pairs", "Human knot", "Silent movie" and "Directions finder" (teams)".

English Movie Club

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Movie Club on the 22nd of August.

Our visitors were watching and discussing a 1991 American buddy cop action crime thriller film Point Break isdirected by Kathryn Bigelow, starring Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, Lori Petty and Gary Busey.
The title refers to the surfing term "point break," where a wave breaks as it hits a point of land jutting out from the coastline. Reeves stars as rookie FBI agent Johnny Utah, who is investigating a string of bank robberies possibly being committed by surfers. Johnny goes undercover to infiltrate the surfing community and develops a complex friendship with Bodhi (Swayze), the charismatic leader of a gang of surfers.
The film was a box office success upon its release, with an $83.5 million gross and a budget of $24 million, and has since gained cult status.
