English Movie Club!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Movie Club on the 11th of October.

Our visitors watched the movie "Hail Caesar". 

This is a 2016 British-American comedy film written, produced, edited, and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. The film stars Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Channing Tatum. 

It is a fictional story that follows the real-life "fixer" Eddie Mannix (Brolin) working in the Hollywood film industry in the 1950s, trying to discover what happened to a cast member who vanished during the filming of a biblical epic.

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 10th of October. 

The students played game "Spelling Bee", watched and discussed two short video "11-years-old mobilized kids to save our seas" and "She’s a mass producer of breast milk".
After that they practiced their skills in a passive voice.

English Mafia Party

This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the U. S.- Ukraine Diplomatic Relations. Our Center supports this partnerships and offers lots of different events!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had English Mafia Party with our good American friend and volunteer Thomas R on the 10th of October. 

We had 14 participants!

English Class for Beginners!

Mykolaiv Window on America Center had the English Class for Beginners on the 10th of October. 

The students wrote a dictation on the lexics that they had to  learn during last classes. 

After that they learned ordinal and quantitative numerals, names of months and days of the week.

Speed English Session

Mykolaiv WoA had the Speed English Session on the 8th of October!
Our leader was Alina D. and she asked our visitors different questions from "What's your favourute food?", "What kind of sports do you like the most?" to "What would you like to change about the world?". 
There were 28 participants on our event.

Code Club for Kids

Mykolaiv WoA had the Code Club for Kids on the 8th of October. We continued working on our monsters! :) 
Our leader was Anatoliy D. and we had 11 participants.
