Thanksgiving Day!

On 24th of November we celebrated the Thanksgiving Day!

We had  a pot luck party!

Nastia O. and Edia F., FLEX  city representative were our leaders! ;)))

They told our participants about a popular American holiday – Thanksgiving – and the way it is celebrated in the United States. From the WOA’s slide presentation our members learned about the main characters of this holiday. Also they watched and discussed few short videos:

We were not only taking attention to grammar a lot, but also smiling! :)

English for Beginners

Mykolaiv Window on America Center supports the Year of English in Ukraine!

On November 22nd the Mykolaiv Window on America Center had an English class for Beginners.

On the way of completeing our tasks, we understood that we need to revise everything about the Present Simple and Present Continuous from the very beginning! Sooo... It was HOT! Ahahah ;)

However, we managed to learn everything and even relax at the end of the class.

How happy I am that all of our students are already completely out of the box! I am sure that "creating the rain" all together and making a group massage brought lots of pleasure! :)

We were checking our hometask and learning the difference between the Preset Simple Tense and  Present Continuous. 
There were several exercises and listening.

Our members discussed their favorite  car models. Also they watched and discussed several short video about avtoracing
