18 вересня координатор бібліотечного ресурсного центру "Вікно в Америку" Лариса Сидоренко провела тренінг "Адвокація - час діяти" для студентів заочного відділення факультету менеджменту бізнесу, спеціальності Інформаційна, бібліотечна та архівна справа" ВП «Миколаївська філія Київського національного університету культури і мистецтв.
Під час заходу учасники обговорили важливість та необхідність адвокації, розглянули різноманітні моделі діяльності публічної бібліотеки як центру громадської активності, взяли участь у грі "Промова у ліфті" та ознайомилися з практичним досвідом адвокаційної діяльності бібліотек Миколаївського регіону.
Також учасників було ознайомлено з діяльністю Секції з адвокації Української бібліотечної асоціації та досвідом адвокаційної діяльності бібліотек України, що представлений у групі "Школа бібліотечної адвокації" у мережі Фейсбук.
Присутні дійшли висновок, адвокація - це постійна та кропітка праця з представлення інтересів бібліотек, яка є особливо актуальною в умовах децентралізації та адміністративної реформи.
On the 18th of September a coordinator Mykolaiv Window on America Larysa Sydorenko
conducted training "Advocacy - time to act" for students of the
correspondence department of the Faculty of Management business, specialty
Information, Library and Information Affairs of the separated subdivision Mykolaiv
branch of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.
During the event, participants discussed the importance and necessity of
advocacy activities examined various models of the public library as a center
of social activity, participated in the game "in an elevator speech"
and got acquainted with the experience of advocacy libraries Mykolaiv region.
The participants were also acquainted with the activities of the Advocacy
Section of the Ukrainian Library Association and the advocacy experience of the
libraries of Ukraine, presented in the group "School of Library
Advocacy" in the Facebook network.
The participants came to the conclusion that advocacy is a constant and
hard work on representing the interests of libraries, which is especially relevant
in conditions of decentralization and administrative reform.
