Opportunities for Obtaining Education in the USA

Mykolaiv  Window on America had a presentation "Opportunities for Obtaining Education in the USA" that was conducted by Tetyana Kotko, an Educational Adviser of Kyiv EducationUSA Advising Center.

The EducationUSA Network Advisory Center in Kyiv is a network of more than 425 information and consultation centers for foreign students in more than 175 countries and provides accurate, complete, objective and impartial information on all accredited US higher education institutions and the process of admission to colleges and universities in the United States.

EducationUSA is the official source of information on higher education in the United States. The Center is sponsored by the US Department of State with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine and administered by the American Councils for International Education ACTR / ACCELS.

Participants of the event learned about scholarship programs which are suported by the US government and provided to Ukrainian citizens, a competitive educational environment in the United States, the process of preparing and filing documents for admission to US universities. In addition, the audience watched and discussed a video series about successful stories of Ukrainian students studying in the United States.
