2011 year first session of the English Speaking Club "Dialogue".
January 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. we had English Speaking Club with Edward Novick and Jun Blore, Peace Corps Volunteers. That was the first session this year, Edward has just returned from the U.S.A, where he received treatment. There were 13 people, among them students and schoolchildren. It was a session devoted to the theme “Christmas and New Year Celebrations in the U.S.A. and Ukraine”. The group talked about the history and traditions of the holidays in the United States of America and Ukraine. Edward and Jun told us about the way they celebrate in the United States, and our students and children told about the way of celebration in Ukraine. Then the group discussed the differences in celebrations in the U.S.A and Ukraine, identified the typical way of celebration in the U.S.A.
