Peace Corps Volunteers' Meeting
January 22, 2011 at 2 p.m. we had Peace Corps Volunteers’ meeting devoted to the discussion of the most important points of the volunteering. There were 6 people, Peace Corps Volunteers from Mykolaiv and Mykolaiv region. They gathered together because of the necessity to speak about the problems they faced during their volunteering. Volunteers discussed the problems of teaching English and working with the Ukrainian students. The key point of the meeting was talking about the new ways of involving students and schoolchildren in different interesting activities. The discussion was very important for everybody of them, because volunteers shared their experience, told about their observations and ways of deciding the problems in communication. Such meetings help us to come to mutual understanding and better cooperation.
