January 23, 2011 at 1 p.m. we had meeting devoted to TOEFL, GMAT and SAT preparation. The students have seen the new tests for 2011 and asked Edward and Jun to help them on working with these materials. That was the first session devoted to the tests’ preparation, that’s why there were not a lot of people, just 6 persons, among them students and teachers. Edward Novick, Peace Corps Volunteer, who is working at the Black Sea State University and Jun Blore, Peace Corps Volunteer, who is working in Mykolaiv school No.22, conducted the lesson. The attendants got known about the structure of the tests, the ways of taking the tests and preparation to them. There is an exhibition of the new books, where the tests TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT and books of graduate schools and colleges in the U.S.A. were presented The attendants got more information about their opportunities of studying in the U.S.A., they also studied how to work with the tests.
